The goal was to embody the natural motion principles set out in the original FYW concept, finding a balance between aesthetic and high performance function.

PROCESS THOUGHTS

This process taught me so much about the power of collaboration. It’s a belief I carry forward that when creative ideas and people build upon each other, unexpected and amazing results can happen. This project was a huge effort by the Originals design team from VP/Directors Nic Galway, Chris Law, Senior Designer Prad Indrakumar, Color and Materials designer Andrew Parks, and Product Marketer Sven Hermann.

While I explored this design from Portland, our Design Director Chris Law created the below upper mock up at the maker’s lab in Germany.
